Gae Aulenti
Gae Aulenti is an honorary member of both the ASID and the AIA. Among her most famous architectural projects are the Musée d'Orsay and the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Palau National de Montjuic in Barcelona and the renovation of Palazzo Grassi in Venice.
"Among my papers I found a sheet where I refer to architecture as frozen music... My aim is to create furniture that would appear in a room as buildings on a skyline and remind the viewer of the interaction between objects of design and architectural space."
